Software Engineer (front end) – Cambridge, MA
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- One to three years development experience with J2EE or Java EE 5 (preferably in Open Source environments).
- Fluency in JBoss Seam (JSF, Hibernate, EJB 3.0)
- RDBMS expertise MS SQL Server, MySQL, ORACLE, or Postgres
- Linux/Unix environment proficiency
- Expertise in standards-compliant HTML, DHTML, XHTML and XML code
- Expert in AJAX and CSS
- Experience creating user workflows and site maps, and quickly and efficiently designing and implementing page layouts
- Experience assisting in the preparation of web graphics
- Experience optimizing site code and graphics for best performance
- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility and download issues
- One to five years of experience with above skill set
Preferred:
· Macromedia Flash/Flex development skills
· Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
· Strong understanding of HCI principles as applied to web sites and applications
· Expertise in the principles of information architecture
· Experience designing efficient, usable UIs
· DOM technologies and AJAX Frameworks (DoJO, Scriptilicious)
· Fluency in Maven
· Experience with ColdFusion
