Front-End Developer

Responsibilities:

  • XHTML/CSS/JS template creation/modification and integration.
  • Work with designers on producing the visual designs into interactive HTML templates and assist developers with integration.
  • Maintenance and optimization of the entire presentation layer with a strong focus on CSS for both the public site and internal applications.
  • Day to day validation of updated templates in browser suite to ensure quality assurance.
  • Assistance in producing web-ready graphics. Creating graphics from scratch is bonus!

Qualifications:

 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience producing high quality presentation layer code with a portfolio to match.
  • Expert level knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Experience with AJAX, ASP, and Version Control Software.
  • Experience with development tools and Adobe Creative Suite – Fireworks knowledge is bonus!
  • Knowledge of common cross-browser development issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality.
