Senior Web Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Produce visual designs to create a better user experience for the public site, and internal applications.
  • Produce and manage monthly newsletter.
  • Assist in overseeing web analytics and SEO initiatives.
 
  • Create and edit web pages using HTML, CSS, and Flash with Action Scripting for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
 
  • Maintenance of content management system and public site's assets to ensure quality assurance.
  • XHTML/CSS/JS template creation/modification and integration.
 

Qualifications:

 
  • Minimum of 8 years experience producing fabulous designs with a portfolio to match.
  • Expertise with graphics software including Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator.
  • Expertise in XHTML/CSS/JS.
  • Experience with AJAX, ASP, and Version Control Software.
  • Strong Ajax understanding including MooTools, Script.aculo.us
  • Solid design experience in Flash with ActionScripting.
  • Ability to design for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Ability to focus on aesthetics, user-interface, information architecture, and usability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality.
